Allflex USDA 840 HDX Ultra EID Tags offer premium performance and durability for livestock identification. These HDX EID tags are compliant with Federal Animal Disease Traceability regulations and help verify that animals were born in the USA. Each tag includes a unique 15-digit ID number linked to your Premise ID, stored in the NAIS database.

HDX vs. FDX Technology:

HDX (Half Duplex) and FDX (Full Duplex) tags differ in how they transmit data. HDX tags send data only after fully receiving power, resulting in a longer read range and better signal reliabilityideal for automated systems and environments with signal interference. FDX tags transmit data continuously and offer faster reads at shorter distances, making them more suitable for handheld readers or up-close scanning. While FDX tags are often used for feeder cattle, HDX tags are preferred for operations requiring precise, consistent reads from greater distances and potential interference.

Buyers must provide a Premise Identification Number (PIN) or Location Identification Number (LID) and the associated address when ordering. These numbers can be obtained from the State Veterinarians office.
