Mini is recommended for use in 1 to 5 gallon aquariums. Medium is recommended for use in 5 – 15 (5″) or 5 – 20 (9″) gallon aquariums. Large is recommended for use in 20 – 55 (10″) or 40+ (16″) gallon aquariums.
