The Jeffers Basic Canvas Horse Blanket is a great economy blanket for horses that are not as rough on their blankets. The canvas horse blanket is water resistant and designed to repel water but is not waterproof. All canvas horse blankets are designed with limited seams to protect the integrity of the blanket and its ability to repel water. For example, the bottom edge of the felt liner is not sewn into the blanket to help keep the blanket water resistant.
