The main difference in sizes is the pet door opening. Measure the height of your sliding glass door. Our door inserts fit patio doors 76 3/4 81 inches tall. Dogs and cats can use sliding door inserts. Measure each pet who will use the door and check the weight and height recommendations for the pet door.

Measuring your pet for a sliding glass pet door

1. Measure Width: Measure the widest part of your pet (chest or hips) and add 2 inches.
2. Measure Height: Measure your pet from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the chest or belly, whichever length is greater.
3. Measure Withers: Measure your pet from the top of the shoulders to the floor. Add 2 inches.
4. Select Door Size: Based on your measurements, select the correct size below.
